AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND STATE HIGHWAY AND
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION PROVIDING FOR
TRAFFIC SIGNAL COORDINATION IMPROVEMENTS ON HORNE
ROAD BETWEEN AYERS STREET AND AIRPORT ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute an agreement with the state of Texas, acting by
and through its State Highway and Public Transportation
Commission, providing for traffic signal interconnection
improvements on Horne Road (Metropolitan Highway No. 407) at
its intersections with Ayers Street, Port Avenue, State
Highway No. 286, Prescott Street, Greenwood Drive and
Columbia Parkway (Airport Road) all as more fully set forth
in the Agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A.
