SUPPORTING THE EFFORTS OF THE MEN AND WOMEN SERVING IN
THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND
AROUND THE WORLD.
WHEREAS, the United State of America has entered into military conflict in the
Middle East; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi continues to support all branches of
military service; and
WHEREAS, many men and women from the Corpus Christi area have been
called to active duty, leaving their family members behind; and
WHEREAS, their sacrifices and unrelenting commitment preserve and protect our
freedom and democracy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Council strongly supports the efforts of the men and
women serving in the United States Armed Forces in the Middle East and around the world.
