HomeMy WebLinkAbout021129 RES - 04/02/1991RESOLUTION SUPPORTING PASSAGE OF HOUSE BILL 1841 WHEREAS, present state law provisions for charges made for access to public records do not adequately reflect the costs incurred in providing those records; and WHEREAS, House Bill 1841 has been introduced in the 72nd Texas Legislature and would allow the charges made for access to public records to more reasonably reflect the development costs of record systems. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi supports House Bill 1841. SECTION 2. That the City Manager and staff are directed to advise all local legislators and other pertinent officials of this resolution, and to take all steps necessary to support and obtain passage of House Bill 1841.
