APPROVING APPLICATION TO THE
GOVERNOR'S ENERGY OFFICE FOR
ENERGY AUDITS OF CITY FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Governor's Energy Office through its Institutional
Conservation Program makes available to local governments energy audits at no cost to the
locality; and
WHEREAS, such audits may result in cost savings to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council approves submission by the City Manager
of applications for energy audits of City Hall, the Police Building, the Coliseum, the
International Airport, the Bayfront Plaza Auditorium, the Bayfront Plaza Convention
Center, the Museum of Science & Natural History, and other facilities for which such audits
may be available.
