HomeMy WebLinkAbout021279 ORD - 11/05/1991AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR YEARS COMMENCING IN FISCAL YEAR 1991 AND ENDING IN 1996 AND APPROPRIATING THE 1991- 1992 FISCAL YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: WHEREAS, to establish priorities and to provide proper planning for implementing the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program, City staff prepared the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program - 1991 to 1996; WHEREAS, said Five -Year Capital Improvement Program - 1991 to 1996 establishes priorities and ensures that these Capital Improvements are properly implemented for the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Corpus Christi; and WHEREAS, said Five -Year Capital Improvement Program - 1991 to 1996 is on file in the office of the City Secretary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program - 1991 to 1996, as filed in the office of the City Secretary, and made a part hereof by this reference, the same as if written herein, is hereby confirmed, ratified, and approved by the City Council as the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program - 1991 to 1996 of the City of Corpus Christi and appropriating $5,364,018 to the 1991-1992 Fiscal Year Capital Improvement Fund in accordance with the Five - Year Capital Improvement Program and as listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. SECTION 2.
