HomeMy WebLinkAbout021286 ORD - 11/19/1991AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH HELDENFELS CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, INC. FOR APPROXIMATELY 3,000 CUBIC YARDS OF CONCRETE CONTAINING A FIBER REINFORCEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $157,500; APPROPRIATING $11,301 FROM THE RESERVE FOR FUTURE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF THE GOLF CENTER FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. TEXAS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the execution of a supply agreement with Heldenfels Construction Materials, Inc., for approximately 3,000 cubic yards of concrete, in accordance with the specifications and requirements established by Bid Invitation No. BI -0043-92. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $11,301 from the Reserve for Future Construction Account of the Golf Center Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and \shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of itP101A- , 1991.
