AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 91 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO
IMPLEMENT THE FISCAL YEAR 91 CDBG PROGRAM AMENDMENT;
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE APPROVED FISCAL YEAR
91 PROJECTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the Fiscal Year 91 (17th year) Community Development Block
Grant Program is hereby amended and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute all related documents.
SECTION 2. That funds provided by the Community Development Block Grant
Program are hereby appropriated for the projects approved through the Fiscal Year 91
program amendment, as more specifically listed on Exhibit "A" attached.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the efficient and effective
administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed, and shall take effect upon first reading as
an emergency measure this the 1, day of j (CCI )) , 1991.

exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at

ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
