HomeMy WebLinkAbout021345 ORD - 03/17/1992AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $21,489 FROM THE NO. 111 WALDRON PARK TRUST FUND, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 291-601-607.79, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CULLEN, SAM HOUSTON, SOUTH SEA, VIOLET, AND WALDRON PARKS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $21,489, from the No. 111 Waldron Park Trust Fund, applicable to Project No. 291-601-607.79, for the construction of improvements in Cullen, Sam Houston, South Sea, Violet, and Waldron Parks. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shal ake effect onreading as an emergency measure this the shat / day of �(/1rst , 1992.
