HomeMy WebLinkAbout021376 ORD - 04/21/1992AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $106,847 FROM THE PARK TRUST FUND #111; $5,000 FROM PERMANENT ART TRUST FUND #111; $2,262 FROM THE SISTER CITY TRUST FUND #111; $1,850 FROM THE SENIOR EXCURSION FUND # 162; $166,722 FROM THE ELDERLY NUTRITION PROGRAM TRUST FUND #162; AND $4,325 FROM THE LATCHKEY TRUST FUND #111, FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is appropriated $106,847 from the Park Trust Fund #111 for landscaping, tree planting grant funds match, and general park improvements in the following areas: Middlecoff Park Ridgewood Park Brookdale Park Airline Park Cole Park Brookhill Park Wooldridge Park Koolside Park H.E.B. Park/Pool/Tennis Unrestricted Park 111-241.10 111-241.11 111-241.14 111-241.38 111-241.20 111-241.28 111-241.41 111-241.08 111-241.58 111-241.01 $ 7,364 $ 5,000 $12,415 $ 5,395 $26,000 $ 1,020 $ 7,938 $ 5,000 $20,000 $16,715 SECTION 2. That there is appropriated $5,000 from the Permanent Art Trust Fund #111-243.61 for public art at Fire Station #1. SECTION 3. That there is appropriated $2,262 from the Sister City Trust Fund #111-243.38 allocated to complete various Quincentenary Projects. SECTION 4. That there is appropriated $1,850 from the Senior Excursion Fund #162-154-808.01 allocated to fund volunteer recognition events, emergency food vouchers, fund raising expenses, and senior center special events. SECTION 5. That there is appropriated $166,722 from the Elderly Nutrition Program Trust Fund #162-154-808.10 allocated to provide for various capital improvements to senior centers, public art for Broadmoor Senior Center and to balance FY 1991-92 grant programs. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and sha.,1 take effect upn first reading as an emergency measure this the day of �Q✓11 , 1992.
