APPROPRIATING $70,000 FROM THE NO. 220-249.01 STREET
TRUST ACCOUNT FOR ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A ROAD
LOCATED SOUTH OF WOOLDRIDGE ROAD BETWEEN RODD FIELD ROAD
AND THE CAYO DEL OSO TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO A NEW
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 220-601-
602.45, GREENFIELDS BY THE BAY ACCESS ROAD; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $70,000
from the No. 220-249.01 Street Trust Account for acquisition and
construction of a road located south of Wooldridge Road between
Rodd Field Road and the Cayo Del Oso to provide access to a new
elementary school applicable to Project No. 220-601.602-45,
Greenfields by the Bay Access Road.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or
five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an
emergency due to the need to take immediate action to preserve and
protect public property by expediting the construction of public
improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this
ordinance is passed and shalt take effect ,U.pon first read9ng as an

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance an emergency
exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
three regular meetings; l/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule and pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
