HomeMy WebLinkAbout021418 ORD - 06/30/1992AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 21058, PASSED AND APPROVED ON JANUARY 2, 1991, BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING STREETS: Gardendale Area. Phase III. Street Improvements Williams Drive, from 922 L.F. East of Everhart Road to South Staples Street; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 21058, passed and approved on January 2, 1991, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following streets: Gardendale Area, Phase III. Street Improvements Williams Drive, from 922 L.F. East of Everhart Road to South Staples Street; a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A." SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed _and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the '\ day of , )1_,L.
