HomeMy WebLinkAbout021457 ORD - 08/18/1992AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 53, TRAFFIC, SECTION 53-250, SCHEDULE I -ONE WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS, BY ADDING THE DESIGNATION OF TIME -RESTRICTED ONE-WAY PATTERNS ON CERTAIN STREET IN SCHOOL AREAS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 53, Traffic, Section 53-250 Schedule I -One way streets and alleys, is hereby amended by adding the following section: (a-1) School areas. In accordance with section 53-103 and when properly sign posted, all traffic shall move only in the direction indicated during the hours indicated by signs on the following streets or portions of streets: Direction of Traffic Brentwood Drive, from Norton Street to south Brawner Parkway (north leg) SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final Judgment of a court of competent Jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision hereof be give full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 3.
