APPROVING DEVELOPER'S APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING
REIMBURSEMENT IN THE AMOUNTS OF $31,591.22 FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF 1,734 LINEAR FEET OF A 12 -INCH DIAMETER WATER GRID MAIN AND
$56,625.15 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF 1,895 LINEAR FEET OF 12 -INCH
DIAMETER OFFSITE SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE TO TRI STAR
DEVELOPMENT, INC., OWNERS AND DEVELOPERS OF COURT OF ST.
JAMES SUBDIVISION; APPROPRIATING $31,591.22 FROM THE WATER
ARTERIAL TRANSMISSION AND GRID MAIN TRUST FUND AND $56,625.15
FROM THE SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION TRUST FUND; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby approved the reimbursement application
submitted by Tri Star Development, Inc., developer of Court of St. James in the amounts
of $31,591.22 for the installation of 1,734 linear feet of 12 -inch diameter water grid main,
and $56,625.15 for the installation of 1,895 linear feet of 12 -inch diameter offsite sanitary
sewer collection line.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $31,591.22 from the Water
Arterial Transmission and Grid Main Trust Fund and $56,625.15 from the Sanitary Sewer
Collection Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final
judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section,
paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance for it is the
definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 4. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the construction of
public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three
regular meetings so that this ordin nce is pass d and shall take effect upon first reading as

rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting
of the City Council.
