ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 21442 TO AMEND THE FINAL
STATEMENT FOR THE FY92 CDBG PROGRAM TO REPROGRAM $38,561
FROM THE FY92 RENTAL REHABILITATION MATCH PROGRAM AND
$13,939 FROM THE FY92 SINGLE FAMILY/COMMERCIAL
REHABILITATION LOAN INCOME AND APPROPRIATE $52,500 FOR
THE DESIGN OF THE NEW ZAVALA SENIOR CENTER; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi Ordinance
amended by repealing Exhibit "A" of such ordinance and replacing
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

No. 21442 is hereby

SECTION 2. That the FY92 CDBG Program Funds are hereby appropriated and
allocated in accordance with Exhibit "A."
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as
to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 16th day
of February, 1993.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance an emergency
exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
three regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule and pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
