AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 021524 GOVERNING CITY ELECTIONS
IN 1993, PASSED ON DECEMBER 1,1992 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 BY
REMOVING DOROTHY HIMMEL AND APPOINTING ART CHAVARRIA
AS PRESIDING JUDGE OF THE EARLY VOTING BALLOT BOARD AND
PRESIDING JUDGE OF THE CENTRAL COUNTING STATION.
WHEREAS, Dorothy Himmel is unable to serve as Presiding Judge of the
Early Voting Ballot Board, and Presiding Judge of the Central Counting Station, as
previously appointed by Resolution No. 021524, passed on December 1, 1992;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 021524 governing City elections, passed on
December 1, 1992, be amended by amending Section 3 by removing Dorothy Himmel and
appointing Art Chavarria as Presiding Judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board (Sec. 87.220),
and Presiding Judge of the Central Counting Station (Sec.127.005).
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after
its passage.
