HomeMy WebLinkAbout021602 ORD - 03/16/1993AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A FIVE YEAR RENEWAL OF THE ACKERLEY AIRPORT ADVERTISING, INC. LEASE AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a five year renewal of the Ackerley Airport Advertising, Inc. lease for the consideration shown in Exhibit A attached and made a part hereof. All other terms and conditions to remain the same as the prior lease. SECTION 2. Publication shall he made one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance, this ordinance to become effective upon such publication. niCkWEILMED. 021602 AG5000.305.ajr City of Corpus Chnsti RENEWAL OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND ACKERLEY AIRPORT ADVERTISING, INC. Terms: The renewal period will be for five years beginning January 1, 1993, and ending December 31, 1997. Ackerly Advertising will increase the percentage of gross receipts over the term as follows: 50% for the first year (January 1 through December 31, 1993) 52% for the second year (January 1 through December 31, 1994) 54% for the third year (January 1 through December 31, 1995) 56% for the fourth year (January 1 through December 31, 1996) 58% for the fifth year (January 1 through December 31, 1997) The guaranteed minimum payments shall remain at $66,600.00 annually.
