HomeMy WebLinkAbout021615 ORD - 03/23/1993AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 021441, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 1992- 93 BUDGET, BY APPROPRIATING $120,000 FROM TOURIST AND CONVENTION FUND NO. 103 UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE FOR THE CONVENTION CENTER/ART MUSEUM FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AND APPROPRIATING $33,700 FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS ACCOUNT OF THE TOURIST AND CONVENTION FUND FOR THE CONVENTION CENTER/ART MUSEUM FIRE ALARM SYSTEM; TRANSFERRING $153,700 TO CONVENTION CENTER BOND FUND NO. 209; APPROPRIATING $153,700 FROM CONVENTION CENTER BOND FUND NO. 209; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 021441, adopting the FY 1992-93 budget, is amended by appropriating $120,000 from the Tourist and Convention Center Fund No. 103 unreserved fund balance for the Convention Center/Art Museum fire alarm system (Project 209-601-600.65) and appropriating $33,700 from the Convention Center Major Improvements Account of the Tourist and Convention Fund for the Convention Center/Art Museum fire alarm system (Project 209-601-600.65). SECTION 2. That the $153,700 so appropriated is to be transferred to Convention Center Bond Fund No. 209. SECTION 3. That $153,700 is appropriated from Convention Center Bond Fund No. 209 for the Convention Center/Art Museum fire alarm system. SECTION 4. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergenc measure this the 23 day of N1CAr('l� , 19 .
