HomeMy WebLinkAbout021713 ORD - 07/27/1993AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, SECTION 57-254, SUBSECTION (c), TO INCREASE STORAGE FEES PERMITTED TO BE CHARGED BY ROTATION WRECKERS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That Corpus Christi City Code, Section 57-254, subsection (c) is hereby amended to read as follows: (c) Storage Fees: per day. (1) Recovered stolen vehicles $5.00 {-4} (2) Vehicles with rated capacity of one ton or less than one ton according to manufacturer's rating (including but not necessarily limited to passenger cars, vans, and pickup trucks up to and including ono ton) $7.50 {-2-} (3) Vehicles with rated capacity in cxcccc of one ton according to manufacturer's rating or more $10.00 SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgement of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision clause, phrase, word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 3.
