HomeMy WebLinkAbout021742 ORD - 08/31/1993AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,159,500 FROM THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND AND ALLOCATING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $225,000 TO THE DEL MAR AREA NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS PHASE 3 PROJECT; $346,000 TO THE SOUTH PADRE ISLAND DRIVE/AYERS STREET AREA NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS PROJECT; $200,000 TO THE ANNAVILLE AREA NO. 3 NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS PROJECT; $388,500 TO THE STREET BOND FUND RESERVE APPROPRIATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $1,159,500 from the No. 220 Street Bond Fund and allocating funds in the amount of $225,000 to the Del Mar Area Neighborhood Streets Phase 3 project; $346,000 to the South Padre Island Drive/Ayers Street Area Neighborhood Streets project; $200,000 to the Annaville Area No. 3 Neighborhood Streets project; and $388,500 to the Street Bond Fund Reserve Appropriation. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect, upon first reading as an emergency measure this the j 1 day of I1'.ti :K 1911=?
