HomeMy WebLinkAbout021755 ORD - 09/28/1993AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $52,500 FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS, DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, TO BE ALLOCATED TO FUND NO. 102-219-515.98, EMERGENCY MANAGMENET FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated a grant in the amount of $52,500 from the State of Texas, Department of Emergency Management, to be allocated to fund No. 102-219-515.98, Emergency Management Fund. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall tageffect upon f' st reading as an emergencyasure this the LL day of /#4 ,yt, v , 19 ATTEST: City Secretary APPROVED: c3 DAY OF _Lp , 19 93 JAMES R.
