AUTHORIZING THE CLOSURE OF THE DOWNTOWN
HELIPORT; AND AMENDING THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES CHAPTER 9 AVIATION BY THE REPEAL OF
DIVISION 2, HELIPORTS, SECTION 9-70 THROUGH
SECTION 9-78.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Downtown Heliport, located in the area bounded by Water
Street, Chaparral Street, and the north and south extensions of I.H. 37, be closed.
SECTION 2. That the Code of Ordinances Chapter 9 Aviation be amended by the
deletion of Division 2, Heliports, Section 9-70 through Section 9-78, and saving those
sections for future expansion.
