HomeMy WebLinkAbout021820 ORD - 12/14/1993AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,378.00 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL SERVICES DURING THE PERIOD SEPTEMBER 1, 1993 TO AUGUST 31, 1994; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 021707 WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 1993-1994 BUDGET BY ADDING $37,378.00 TO THE NO. 162 FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND -HEALTH DEPARTMENT; ADDING ONE FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated a grant in the amount of $37,378.00 from the Texas Department of Health for tuberculosis control services during the period September 1, 1993 to August 31, 1994. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 021707, adopting the FY 1993-1994 budget, is amended by adding $37,378.00 to No. 162 Federal/State Grants Fund -Health Department. SECTION 3. That the number of full-time equivalents for the Health Department is increased by one. SECTION 4.
