REDEMPTION OF VEHICLES; FEES FOR IMPOUNDING AND STORAGE; MOVING FEE SCHEDULE FOR IMPOUNDING AND STORAGE OF IMPOUNDED VEHICLES TO SECTION 57-254; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi, Chapter 53, Traffic, Section 53-60. Redemption of vehicles; fees for impounding and storage be amended as follows: Sec. 53-60 Same --Redemption of vehicles; (a) When a vehicle is impounded pursuant to Section 53-59, subsections (a)(1) through (a)(5) the following procedures shall apply: (1) The vehicle shall be released to a person claiming it, upon satisfactory proof that he is entitled to possession, when the following conditions are met: a. Payment of a all towing and storage fees in accordance with the fee schedule in Section 57-254• II . . . .I. . • - .. .. Payment of towing -or an immobilization fee of forty-five dollars ($45.00) or towing and a storage fees in accordance with the fee schedule in Section 57 254 and payment of the standard charge for the underlying parking violations as reflected in the parking violation notices. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provisions of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provisions hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 3. Publication shall be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
