AMENDING THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 1993, AND
ENDING JULY 31, 1994 BY APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FROM THE UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE FOR THE
PAYMENT OF CITY UTILITIES FOR SELECTED
ENTERPRISE FUNDS; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined alternatives to funding
of utility improvements and desires to assure Enterprise Funds are
operated in a prudent and business like manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI:
SECTION 1. That the Budget of the City of Corpus
Christi, Ordinance 021707, is hereby amended by the appropriation
of funds from the unappropriated fund balance of the following
funds for payment of City utility charges as provided by ordinance:
Aviation Fund $56,545 117-365-546.31-313
Golf Fund
Marina Fund

SECTION 2. That upon passage of this ordinance these
sums of money are hereby appropriated to cover the expenditures as
provided.
SECTION 3. That the City Budget is amended only to the
extent of the appropriation and expenditure of these funds as
herein provided and otherwise remains in full force and effect
without modification.
SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph,
subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance
shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a
court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other
section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision
of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its
purpose.
