HomeMy WebLinkAbout021863 ORD - 02/08/1994AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000 CONTRIBUTED BY RTA FOR ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS AT THE OVEAL WILLIAMS SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTER INTO THE FEDERAL/STATE GRANT FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $30,000 contributed by RTA for access improvements at the Oveal Williams Senior and Community Center into the Federal/State Grant Fund. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take`fffect upon firs't- reading as an emerq_egcy measure this the �J day of Kkhrukal , 19 79 ATTEST: C ty�ary MAYOR APPROVED: 4 DAY OF 4<U� JAMES R.
