AMENDING RESOLUTION 021828, ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON DECEMBER 21, 1993, BY CHANGING HEARING AND FILING
DATES IN CONNECTION WITH THE REVIEW OF THE REASONABLENESS
OF CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY'S RATES
WHEREAS, request has been made to amend Resolution 021828,
adopted by the City Council on December 21, 1993, (hereinafter "the
Resolution), by changing hearing and filing dates in connection
with the proceeding initiated by the City Council to review the
reasonableness of Central Power and Light Company's rates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard and considered
presentations from all parties to the case, and believes the
Resolution should be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of the Resolution is hereby amended to
read as follows:
On or before March 18, 1994, CPL shall file with the City
Secretary of the City of Corpus Christi a report
explaining why it believes its existing rates are
reasonable and lawful. The report shall be in such form
and contain such supporting materials as CPL believes are
necessary to most advantageously and persuasively present
its position to the City Council.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of the Resolution is hereby amended by
adding the following:
City representatives shall not file additional requests
for information after February 8, 1994. Other parties
may request information from CPL no later than February
22, 1994. CPL shall respond to such requests within a
reasonable time designated by the requesting party.
SECTION 3. Section 3 of the Resolution is hereby amended to
read as follows:
The City's designated representatives and other parties
shall file with the City Secretary and deliver to the
other parties their analysis of CPL's filing and
information gathered on or before March 23, 1994.
SECTION 4. Section 4 of the Resolution is hereby amended to
read as follows:

CPL shall file any rebuttal to the analysis of the City's
representatives or other parties on or before March 28,
1994.
SECTION 5. The first sentence of Section 5 of the Resolution
is hereby amended to read as follows:
A public hearing shall be conducted by the City Council
for the City of Corpus Christi on March 29, 1994, during
the regular council meeting scheduled to commence at 2:00
p.m.
