APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PADRE ISLAND SHUTTLE, INC.
dba AMERICAN CAB AND SHUTTLE COMPANY, CLAUDIA MCCAINE,
PRESIDENT, FOR THE OPERATION OF A MAXIMUM OF 12 TAXICABS
WITHIN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI FOR A FIVE YEAR PERIOD
EFFECTIVE UPON FINAL READING OF ORDINANCE; SUBJECT TO
THE APPLICANT'S COMPLIANCE WITH ALL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER 57, ARTICLE II, TAXICABS,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve the issuance
of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to Padre Island Shuttle, Inc. dba
American Cab and Shuttle Company, Claudia McCraine, President, for the operation of a
maximum of 12 taxicabs within the City of Corpus Christi for a five year period effective
upon final reading of ordinance; subject to compliance with all terms and conditions
established in Chapter 57, Article II, Taxicabs, of the Code of Ordinances.
