HomeMy WebLinkAbout021982 ORD - 07/12/1994AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,693,322 FOR VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED IN GRANT NO. AIP 3-48-0051-20-94 AND APPROPRIATING $371,552 OF PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE REVENUES OF WHICH $259,951 WILL REIMBURSE CAPITAL RESERVE FUNDS ADVANCED FOR THE ARFF BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS AND $111,601 WILL BE ALLOCATED TO THE COMMERCIAL APRON AND RUNWAY 13/31 REHABILITATION PROJECTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Appropriating a Federal Aviation Administration Grant in the amount of $2,693,322 for various improvements included in Grant No. AIP 3-48-0051-20-94 and appropriating $371,552 of passenger facility charge revenues of which $259,951 will reimburse capital reserve funds advanced for the ARFF Building and Electrical Improvements Projects and $111,601 will be allocated to the commercial apron and runway 13/31 rehabilitation projects. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 12_ day of u,, ,19(4t .
