AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 18169 AND 021718 TO AMEND THE
FY87 AND FY93 CDBG PROGRAMS TO REPROGRAM $18,517 FROM THE
FY87 KNICKERBOCKER STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT INTO THE
FY93 SENIOR CENTERS ADA COMPLIANCE PROJECT REQUIRED BY
FEDERAL STATUTE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of
18169 and 021718 are hereby amended
programs to reprogram $18,517 from
Improvements Project into the FY93
Project required by federal statute
Corpus Christi Ordinances Nos.
to amend the FY87 and FY93 CDBG
the FY 87 Knickerbocker Street
Senior Centers ADA Compliance
SECTION 2. That $18,517 from the FY87 Knickerbocker Street
Improvements Project Funds are hereby appropriated and allocated.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five
Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an efficient
and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take
effect upon far t reading as an emergency measure this the
day of J , 1994.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing
ordinance an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular
meetings: I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter
rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
