AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN ASSIGNMENT OF A CONCESSION
AGREEMENT FROM LAKESIDE SURREYS, INC. DBA SHORELINE
SURREYS OF TEXAS TO RARIM AND WEDAD HAMID.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute an Assignment of Concession Agreement from Lakeside
Surreys, Inc. DBA Shoreline Surreys of Texas to Karim and Wedad
Hamid, as more fully set forth in the Assignment, a substantial
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked
Exhibit A.

ASSIGNMENT
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 021719, passed and approved by
City Council on July 27, 1993, the City approved, subject to
certain conditions, a Concession Agreement with Lakeside Surreys,
Inc. DBA Shoreline Surreys of Texas; and
WHEREAS, Lakeside Surreys, Inc. DBA Shoreline Surreys of
Texas seeks written authority from the City to assign the
Concession Agreement to Karim and Wedad Hamid; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to consent to the assignment of
the Concession Agreement to Karim and Wedad Hamid.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
I.
That all terms and conditions of the Concession Agreement
dated July 27, 1993, be and remain in force and effect. Copies of
the Concession Agreement are on record with the City Secretary's
office as an attachment to the above referenced ordinance. This
assignment shall be effective after second reading approval by City
Council.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Lakeside Surreys, Inc.
Surreys of Texas has executed this Assignment this
July, 1994.
