HomeMy WebLinkAbout022026 RES - 08/30/1994A RESOLUTION ORDERING 90 -DAY EXTENSION AS PART OF CABLE RATE REGULATION REVIEW. WHEREAS, on August 11, 1994, TCI Cablevision of Texas, Inc. ("TCI") filed its Forms 1200 and 1205 and other materials with the City of Corpus Christi (the "City"), as part of the basic service tier rate regulation process; and WHEREAS, the City requires additional time to determine from such filings whether the rates in issue are within the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") standards; and WHEREAS, FCC regulations allow the City to seek an extension of ninety (90) additional days by the City's own "order," NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That it is hereby ORDERED that the City does need and shall have a ninety (90) day extension period so as to complete its review of TCI's filings. SECTION 2. That the City Manager and the City Attorney are hereby further authorized to request additional information from TCI to the extent necessary to allow the City to complete this review of basic service tier rates. SECTION 3. This resolution shall constitute a Tolling Order under Section 55-191(D)(2) of the Corpus Christi Code (adopted via Ordinance No. 021802 which was approved by the City Council on November 16, 1993).
