AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE
AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUSEUM OF ORIENTAL CULTURES LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI BY GRANTING A
$125,000 CONSTRUCTION GRANT TO BE USED WITHIN 18 MONTHS
FROM MAY 14, 1994 AND TERMINATING THE LEASE AGREEMENT IF
THE REHABILITATION OR CONSTRUCTION IS NOT COMPLETE BY
THEN, AND BY CHANGING THE LESSEE'S ADDRESS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is
hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the Museum of Oriental
Cultures Lease Agreement with the City of Corpus Christi by
granting a $125,000 construction grant to be used within 18 months
from May 14, 1994 and terminating the Lease Agreement if the
rehabilitation or construction is not complete by then, and by
changing the Lessee's address, a copy of which is on file with the
City Secretary.
