AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A 40 -YEAR LEASE WITH MARINA FUEL & CHARTER BOAT
COMPANY, L.C., ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE LAWRENCE
STREET T -HEAD, FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A MARINE
SERVICE STATION PROVIDING FUEL FOR BOATS AND CARS, MARINE
RELATED CONVENIENCE STORE, CHARTER BOAT SERVICES, BOAT
BROKER SERVICES, SALES AND SERVICE, BUT NO COOKING, OF
FOOD AND BEVERAGES ON THE PREMISES, AND APPROVING A
RENTAL RATE OF 1 AND 1/2 PERCENT OF GROSS SALES, OR A
MONTHLY MINIMUM OF $200, WHICHEVER IS GREATER; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a 40 -
year lease with Marina Fuel & Charter Boat Company, L.C., on the northwest corner of the Lawrence
Street T -Head, for the purpose of operating a marine service station providing fuel for boats and cars,
marine related convenience store, charter boat services, boat broker services, sales, and service, but
no cooking, of food and beverages on the premises, and approving a rental rate of 1 and 1/2 percent
of gross sales, or a monthly minimum of $200, whichever is greater, a copy of which is on file with
the City Secretary.
SECTION 2. That publication shall be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
