AUTHORIZING RESALE OF LOT 42, BLOCK 2, WASHINGTON
ADDITION FOR THE PRICE OFFERED AND AUTHORIZING COUNTY
JUDGE ROBERT N. BARNES TO EXECUTE A RESALE DEED NAMING
VENTURA MORALES AS GRANTEE.
WHEREAS, the taxing authorities hold in trust the
property legally described as:
LOT 42, BLOCK 2, WASHINGTON ADDITION, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS
and;
WHEREAS, an offer has been made by Mr. Ventura Morales to
purchase the property for the sum of $3,000.00 which is less than
what is owed against the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Sec. 34.05 of the Property
Tax Code, the governing body of the City of Corpus Christi hereby
authorizes said resale for the price offered and authorizes County
Judge Robert N. Barnes to execute a resale deed naming the buyer as
Grantee.
