HomeMy WebLinkAbout022118 ORD - 12/20/1994AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000.00 FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY INCLUDING $30,000.00 FOR THE DESIGN, FABRICATION, AND INSTALLATION OF COMPONENTS OF THE SEEDS OF CHANGE EXHIBIT AND $20,000.00 FOR THE DESIGN, FABRICATION, AND INSTALLATION OF AN OUTDOOR XERISCAPE EXHIBIT AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 021997 WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 1994-1995 BUDGET BY ADDING $50,000.00 TO SEEDS OF CHANGE AND XERISCAPE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT NO. 111-000-243.06; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated a grant in the amount of $50,000.00 from the Friends of the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History including $30,000.00 for the design, fabrication, and installation of components of the Seeds of Change Exhibit and $20,000.00 for the design, fabrication, and installation of an outdoor xeriscape exhibit at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 021997, which adopted the FY 1994-1995 budget, is amended by adding $50,000.00 to Seeds of Change and Xeriscape Trust Fund Account No. 111-000-243.06. SECTION 3.
