AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, SECTION 53-257, SCHEDULE
VIII -- PARKING METER ZONES ESTABLISHED, BY CHANGING THE
EXISTING TWO-HOUR TIME LIMIT PARKING METERS TO 10 -HOUR
TIME LIMIT PARKING METERS ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE
700-800 BLOCKS OF NORTH UPPER BROADWAY AND ALONG BOTH
SIDES OF THE 600 BLOCK OF BUFFALO STREET; PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances, Section 53-257, Schedule
VIII, is hereby amended by deleting the following:
(c) Meter Zone No. 3:
(2) Buffalo Street -- (both sides) -- Upper Broadway to Tancahua Street.
(8) Upper Broadway - (both sides) -- Lipan Street to Winnebago Street.
and in lieu thereof adding the following:
(a) Meter Zone No. 1:
(14) Upper Broadway -- (east side only) -- Antelope Street to Winnebago Street.
(15) Buffalo Street -- (both sides) -- Upper Broadway to Carancahua Street.
(c) Meter Zone No. 3:
(2) Buffalo Street --- (both sides) -- Carancahua Street to Tancahua Street.
(8) Upper Broadway -- (both sides) -- Lipan Street to Antelope Street.
(12) Upper Broadway -- (west side only) -- Antelope Street to Winnebago Street.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the
City of Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 3. A violation of these parking meter time limits may result in a citation
being issued and a fine being assessed.
