APPROPRIATING $14,730,000.00 FROM THE SALE OF CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI UTILITY SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1995
INTO THE VARIOUS FUNDS AS INDICATED: (A) $12,150,000.00 TO THE
WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND NO. 598 TO SUPPORT
WATER IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORIZED IN THE FY 94-95 CAPITAL
BUDGET; (B) $2,290,000.00 TO THE SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND NO. 508 FOR WASTEWATER PROJECTS
AUTHORIZED IN THE FY 94-95 CAPITAL BUDGET; AND (C) $290,000.00
TO THE COMBINED UTILITY SYSTEM FUND FOR BOND ISSUANCE
COSTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $14,730,000.00 from the sale of
City of Corpus Christi Utility System Revenue Bonds, series 1995 into the various funds as
indicated: (a) $12,150,000.00 to the Water Capital Improvement Fund No. 598 to support water
improvements authorized in the FY 94-95 capital budget; (b) $2,290,000.00 to the Sanitary Sewer
Capital Improvement Fund No. 508 for wastewater projects authorized in the FY 94-95 Capital
Budget; and (c) $290,000.00 to the Combined Utility System fund for bond issuance costs
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members,
copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary
for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made
and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is paned 1 and shall take effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure this the 11 day of , � L , 19 q1
