HomeMy WebLinkAbout022326 ORD - 08/22/1995AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $139,725.00 AS THE FAA'S ESTIMATED SHARE OF THE INSTALLATION OF AIRFIELD INSULATION RESISTANCE MONITORING SYSTEM (IRMS) AND AIRFIELD COMPUTER LIGHTING SYSTEM (ACLS) AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CCIA) AUTHORIZED UNDER FAA GRANT NO. AIP 3-48-0051- 22-95; ADDING $139,725.00 TO THE 245 AIRPORT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $139,725.00 from the Airport Capital Improvement Fund as the FAA's estimated share of the installation of Airfield Insulation Resistance Monitoring System (IRMS) and Airfield Computer Lighting System (ACLS) at the Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) authorized under FAA Grant No. AIP 3-48-0051-22- 95. SECTION 2. That $139,725.00 be added to the 245 Airport Capital Improvement Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed �and lshall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 2_Z day of (,U U 19 q..5 ATTEST: THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI Armando Chapa, City Secre ary APPROVED: [7 DAY ORA( , 1995.
