GABRIEL PARTITION OF THE GUGGENHEIM AND COHN FARM LOTS, UNDERLYING THE GABRIEL TERRACE DRAINAGE DITCH LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF PADRE ISLAND DRIVE AND OLD BROWNSVILLE ROAD, FOR A MINIMUM BID OF $75.00 PER ACRE, $10.00 PER ACRE DELAY RENTALS, 20% ROYALTY, WITH A THREE YEAR TERM. WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids to lease minerals, with a minimum bid of $75.00 per acre, $10.00 per acre delay rentals, 20% royalty, with a three year term; and WHEREAS, City Council opened the bids on August 29, 1995 and evaluated same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a three year oil and gas lease with Transquest, Incorporated, for $75.00 per acre, with a $10.00 per acre delay rental, and a 20% percent royalty, which was determined to be the bid that was most advantageous to the City, for the property described on the attached and incorporated Exhibit A. A copy of the oil and gas lease, completed with the name and numbers set out above, is on file with the City Secretary.
