APPROPRIATING $300,000 FROM THE PASSENGER FACILITY
CHARGE ("PFC") FUND UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE FOR THE
HAYDEN HEAD TERMINAL RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PHASE
1A CONTRACT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022279, WHICH
ADOPTED THE FY 1995-96 BUDGET, BY ADDING $300,000 TO THE
PFC FUND NO. 246; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $300,000 from the PFC Fund unreserved fund balance for the
Hayden Head Terminal reconstruction project, Phase lA Contract is hereby appropriated.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022279, which adopted the FY 1995-96 budget, is
hereby amended by adding $300,000 to the PFC Fund No. 246.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances
at two regular meetings so that this ordinance ispassed and shall talse effect upon first reading as
an emergency measure this the - LL> day of fa,ki, 1995.

requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two

ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
