HomeMy WebLinkAbout022377 ORD - 10/17/1995AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 021864 PASSED FEBRUARY 8, 1994, BY AMENDING SECTION 3 TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL AND ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AGAINST THE PROPERTY OWNERS OR PROPERTY ABUTTING ON MAYFIELD DRIVE - VIOLET ROAD TO STARLITE LANE, ANNAVILLE AREA STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 3, PHASE I; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance 021864 is hereby amended passed February 8, 1994 by amending Section 3 to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against the property owners or property abutting on Mayfield Drive - Violet Road to Starlite Lane, Annaville Area Street Improvements Project No. 3, Phase I, a substantial copy of which is attached and incorporated as Exhibit A. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance isass d and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the (1 Day of p(t V 1995.
