HomeMy WebLinkAbout022490 ORD - 02/20/1996AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $375,000 FROM THE PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE (PFC) FUND UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE FOR AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO THE CONSULTANT'S CONTRACT FOR SERVICES RELATED TO THE CCIA TERMINAL BUILDING RECONSTRUCTION; AMENDING THE FY95-96 CAPITAL BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 022394, BY ADDING $375,000 TO THE PFC FUND NO. 246; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is appropriated $375,000 from the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) Fund Unreserved Fund Balance for Amendment No. 5 to the consultant's contract for services related to the CCIA Terminal Building Reconstruction. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022394, which adopted the FY 1995-1996 capital budget, is amended by adding $375,000 to the PFC Fund No. 246. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of city affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 2-0 day of February, 1996.
