HomeMy WebLinkAbout022541 ORD - 04/16/1996ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $190,000 FROM THE PERMANENT ART TRUST ACCOUNT 111 -000 -243.61 -FOR THE GATEWAY PROJECT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022394 THAT ADOPTED THE FY 95-96 CAPITAL BUDGET TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS IN THE PARK CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND NO. 291 BY $190,000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $190,000 is hereby transferred from the Permanent Art Trust Account No. 111-000-243.61, for costs associated with the Gateway Project. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022394 that adopted the FY 95-96 Capital Budget is hereby amended to increase appropriations in the Park Capital Improvement Fund No. 291 by $190,000. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 111; day of U.P1111 , 1996.
