T Armando Chapa City Secretary Corpus Christi, Texas MJCRDJJLMEC 7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 021509, PASSED AND APPROVED ON NOVEMBER 3,1992, BY AMENDING SECTION 3 OF SAID ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL AND ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AGAINST THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY ABUTTING ON WALDRON ROAD FROM PURDUE ROAD TO SOUTH PADRE ISLAND DRIVE; AS HEREIN PROVIDED; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance 021509 is hereby amended passed November 3, 1992 by amending Section 3 to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against the property owners or property abutting on Waldron Road from Purdue Road to South Padre Island Drive, a substantial copy of which is attached and incorporated as Exhibit A. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the (lh Day of Ll„12 i'( 1 , 1996.
