AUTHORIZING RESALE OF LOT 5, BLOCK 3, ISLAND FAIRWAY
ESTATES REPLAT, FOR AT LEAST $110,000 AND AUTHORIZING
COUNTY JUDGE RICHARD M. BORCHARD TO EXECUTE A RESALE
DEED.
WHEREAS, the taxing authorities hold in trust the property legally described as:
LOT 5, BLOCK 3, ISLAND FAIRWAY ESTATES REPLAT
and;
WHEREAS, a bid has been made to purchase the property for the sum of $110,000, and
subsequently a higher bid was received from another bidder, which is less than what is owed against
the property; and
WHEREAS, an auction will be scheduled to obtain the highest possible price for the taxing
entities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Sec. 34.05 of the Property Tax Code, the governing body
of the City of Corpus Christi hereby authorizes said resale for at least $110,000 and authorizes
County Judge Richard M. Borchard to execute a resale deed for Lot 5, Block 3, Island Fairway
Estates Replat to the highest bidder at auction, subject to said minimum bid requirement.
