AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH OUR HOUSE, INC. D/B/A RONALD
MCDONALD HOUSE IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,000 FROM THE CDBG
PROGRAM TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR FAMILIES WITH
HOSPITALIZED MEMBERS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with Our House, Inc. d/b/a Ronald McDonald House in the amount of
$40,000 from the CDBG program to provide temporary housing for families with hospitalized
members, a substantial copy which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes and
marked Exhibit "A"
SECTION 2. That this authorization is subject to clearance and release of FY 1996 CDBG
funds to the City of Corpus Christi by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
