AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH METRO MINISTRIES IN THE AMOUNT
OF 580,000 FROM THE EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT PROGRAM FOR
SERVICES FOR THE HOMELESS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with Metro Ministries in the amount of $80,000 from the Emergency Shelter
Grant (ESG) for services for the homeless, a substantial copy which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all purposes and marked Exhibit "A"
SECTION 2. That this authorization is subject to clearance and release of FY 1996 ESG
funds to the City of Corpus Christi by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
