AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH DOS MUNDOS DAY CARE IN THE
AMOUNT OF $16,667 FROM THE EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT
PROGRAM FOR SERVICES FOR LOW INCOME HOMELESS CHILDREN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with Dos Mundos Day Care in the amount of $16,667 from the Emergency
Shelter Grant (ESG) for services for low income homeless children, a substantial copy which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes and marked Exhibit "A"
SECTION 2. That this authorization is subject to clearance and release of FY 1996 ESG
funds to the City of Corpus Christi by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
