AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,667 FROM THE
CDBG PROGRAM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING AND
LIGHTING FOR HOUSING AUTHORITY PROJECTS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designated representative is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with the Housing Authority of the City of Corpus Christi in the amount of
$60,667 from the CDBG Program for the construction of fencing and lighting for Housing Authority
projects, a substantial copy which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes and
marked Exhibit "A"
SECTION 2. That this authorization is subject to clearance and release of FY 1996 CDBG
funds to the City of Corpus Christi by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
