AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE AN ASSIGNMENT OF HANGAR AND FIXED BASE
OPERATOR LEASE FROM RAYTHEON AIRCRAFT SERVICES, INC. TO
MERCURY AIR GROUP, INC. AND AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE LEASE
BETWEEN CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AND MERCURY AIR GROUP,
INC. FOR A TERM ENDING OCTOBER 13, 2009, FOR AN AREA
APPROXIMATELY 1250 FEET BY 350 FEET ADJACENT TO PINSON
DRIVE, IN CONSIDERATION OF ANNUAL RENTAL OF $.12 PER
SQUARE FOOT FOR IMPROVED SPACE, $.05 PER SQUARE FOOT FOR
UNIMPROVED SPACE, 33-1/3% OF PARKING OR TIE -DOWN INCOME,
AND $.0625 PER GALLON OF FUEL PURCHASED BY MERCURY; AND
PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute an
assignment of Hangar and Fixed Base Operator Lease from Raytheon Aircraft Services, Inc., FKA
Hedrick Beechcraft, to Mercury Air Group, Inc. and Amendment No. 1 to the Hangar and Fixed
Base Operator Lease Between the City of Corpus Christi and Mercury Air Group, for a term ending
October 13, 2009, for an area approximately 1250 feet by 350 feet adjacent to Pinson Drive, in
consideration of annual rental payments of $.12 per square foot of improved area, and $.05 per
square foot of improved area -both to be adjusted by the CPI every 3 years, $.0625 per gallon of fuel
purchased by Mercury Air Group, Inc., and 33-1//% of gross income from parking and tie -down
facilities on the ramp area -payable monthly.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
